This Year's Symposium Theme, Preserving Herbal Legacies

The 34th AHG Symposium is an inspiring celebration of the many herbal lineages that have shaped the practice of herbalism, including 32 place and culture-based sessions. Contemporary herbal practice is rooted in the heritage of herbal traditions drawn from diverse bioregions and sociocultural streams, from Hoodoo rootwork to the Pueblo preparations of the southwest U.S. to Daodi processing methods.

The 2023 Symposium blends cutting edge clinical skills with unique perspectives, case studies, and narratives drawn from this vast global pool of herbal knowledge. And as we all recover from all the Zooming of the Covid years, we're emphasizing experiential, tech-free classes with presentations that engage the senses and lots of herb walks to introduce you to local flora.
