Tax Planning for Small Businesses

This class will guide individuals and business owners through available tax deductions and credits for the 2022 tax year. This class is intended to assist participants in identifying all applicable deductions and credits to reduce potential tax liabilities. Guidance will also be provided for preparing for the initial meeting during the initial tax clinic session for tax preparation.

This class will focus on capturing the essence of your business concept. This will assist in establishing the right foundation for your business by learning about (a.) the type of business entities (partnerships, S-corporations, limited liability companies, etc.), (b.) filing and registration requirements on a federal, state and local level, (c.) insurance and business & personal liability, and (d.) business banking, (e) developing an impactful business plan and (f) utilizing strong business practices.
